Congratulations to the Leadership Estero Class of 2025 on launching the first-ever class project in program history: the Caps & Gowns Initiative!
As a program of the Greater Estero Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Estero partnered with The Imagine Initiative and Lee County school social workers to help ensure students experiencing homelessness or foster care have access to graduation caps and gowns. What began with a $5,000 goal grew into nearly $10,000 raised — funding that not only provides caps and gowns for this year’s graduating class, but also other senior-specific experiences like prom, Grad Bash, and yearbooks for eligible graduates from the Class of 2027.
Money raised during the Chamber’s Annual Golf Tournament contributed to the project. We are proud to make a meaningful difference in our community through initiatives like this, and we celebrate the impact our Leadership Estero alumni are making in the community.
